Knichel Logistics has done it AGAIN!! We are ecstatic to have been named one of Pittsburgh's 100-fastest growing companies for a FOURTH time. In addition to being among the top 100, Knichel Logistics placed 13th within our industry. This award is based off of revenue growth between 2007 and 2009 and Knichel managed to grow by 30.47%.

Knichel Logistics has made the 2009 Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America list due to a 71.6% growth rate over the past three years.

Knichel Logistics placed 49th out of 72 local companies on the Best Places to Work list which is an annual honor presented by the Pittsburgh Business Times that recognizes Pittsburgh companies that go out of their way to show their appreciation for their employees. Carl Pearson has joined the Knichel Logistics sales team as VP of National Accounts

Carl R. Pearson Sr. joined Knichel Logistics today as our new VP of National Accounts. Carl comes to Knichel Logistics with 21 years of experience in the transportation industry and will be working from the Richmond, VA region.

He has significant LTL experience, has marketed rail transload services extensively, and most recently was Regional VP of Sales for another well known 3PL where he built retail relationships with shippers throughout the Eastern US. Prior to that, he worked in various capacities for the Union Pacific Railroad for 14 years, and concluded his railroad career with 3 years of experience marketing wholesale intermodal services to the IMC community in the Eastern US.

With his wealth of transportation knowledge and expertise, Carl is an incredibly valuable addition to the Knichel Logistics sales force.
