Customer Service Representative - Gibsonia, PA

Knichel Logistics is looking to expand our full service brokerage division. We are currently accepting resumes for the full-time Customer Service Representative position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communicating all load-related issues to the customer in a timely fashion
• Communicating all requested rates to customers in a timely fashion
• Communicating all essential information about customer loads to the dispatch team
• Keying all dispatch non-conformance issues in a log
• Keeping the Manager of OTR informed of all customer related issues
• Obtaining all accessorial approvals from customers in the form of an email or faxed signature
• Assisting the Manager of OTR with special projects and record keeping as needed
• Setting and/or changing pickup and delivery appointments with vendors

Job requirements and essential information: 

• 6 months customer service experience with a 3PL or truckload provider
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with transportation software and Microsoft products
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• This is a salaried position with full benefits after 90 days
• This position is for local residents only - no relocation reimbursement is provided

Full-time Load Coordinator - Gibsonia, PA

Knichel Logistics is looking to expand our full service brokerage division. We are currently accepting resumes for the full-time Load Coordinator position. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling pick-ups and deliveries
• Tracking and tracing shipments
• Communicating via phone and email with carriers and customers
• Negotiation of pricing with customers

• High level of drive, energy, and stress tolerance
• Must be a goal-oriented, self-motivated team player
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems quickly
• Experience necessary with van, reefer, and flatbed freight
• Customer and carrier following is a plus
• Must be a good negotiator
• Brokerage experience is a plus
