Knichel Logistics has done it yet AGAIN in 2011! We are ecstatic to have been named one of Pittsburgh's 100-fastest growing companies for a FIFTH time. In addition to being among the top 100, Knichel Logistics placed 10th within our industry. This award is based off of revenue growth between 2008 and 2010 and Knichel managed to grow by 20.61%.

Knichel Logistics has made the 2011 Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America list due to a 57% growth rate over the past three years.

Knichel Logistics placed 74th out of 96 local companies and 56th in the small business category with a 85.69% employee satisfaction rating on the Best Places to Work list, which is an annual honor presented by the Pittsburgh Business Times that recognizes Pittsburgh companies that go out of their way to show their appreciation for their employees. Temperature-Controlled

Knichel Logistics has teamed up with the nation’s leading transport company in temperature control to provide you with a first-class, coast-to-coast intermodal refrigerated service.

The brand new 53’ refrigerated Air Ride trailers are specifically designed for intermodal movement and are Qualcomm-equipped, with real-time satellite tracking and tracing capabilities. The internal temperature is monitored remotely, and can also be changed remotely.

All trailers are pre-tripped before each move. Knichel will provide 2 hours free time for loading and unloading. Load locks are provided to help ensure the integrity of each and every load.

With this expedited priority rail service, you will reap the benefits of fast transit times and superior freight handling.
